Boost Your Testosterone: 10 Things to Avoid

High testosterone will give you more confidence, more muscle, and make you more attractive to the women around you. So today, I'm going to show you 10 things that are destroying your testosterone levels. If you are using more than four of the things I have on this list, you're in serious trouble.

  1. Polyester Clothing: This lowers your sperm count. Most men wear clothing made out of polyester without realizing it is destroying their testosterone levels. Some clothing is worse than others, and I'm going to show you which ones to avoid and what to replace them with. Polyester is everywhere, used in over 60% of garments worldwide. However, a 24-month study found that polyester underwear negatively impacts testosterone production in men. To avoid this, check the tag before buying underwear and make sure it doesn't contain polyester. Instead, purchase underwear made of cotton or wool.

  2. Using Dating Apps: These lower your testosterone. Talking to women online might be fun, but a recent study found that long-term exposure to your phone may decrease your testosterone levels. On the flip side, talking to women in person can actually increase your testosterone levels. Limit your use of dating apps and find a nearby library to work from. Surveys show over 40% of women attend libraries to work, compared to only 30% of men, creating a higher ratio of women to men. Approach the most attractive woman in the library and start a conversation by asking to borrow something. Even a few minutes of interaction can boost your testosterone levels.

  3. Sitting Down: Sitting for long periods destroys testosterone in men. The average person spends up to 8 hours a day sitting down, which has been proven to lower testosterone levels. To counteract this, you need to take 4,400 steps a day. Most men think 10,000 steps are necessary, but studies have found 4,400 steps are enough. Try sending voice notes instead of texts while pacing in your office, room, or library. The average person sends around 72 messages a day, so this simple trick can help you reach your step goal without even noticing.

  4. Lack of Micronutrients: People often focus on macronutrients (fats, carbs, proteins) but neglect micronutrients, which play a crucial role in testosterone levels. Three micronutrients that enhance natural testosterone levels are Shilajit, nanosized gold particles, and fulvic acid. Shilajit, a herb found in the Himalayas, increases testosterone and is sometimes called "natural Viagra." Nanosized gold particles also boost testosterone and decrease inflammation. Fulvic acid, found in foods like beets and carrots, contains over 85 trace minerals essential for bodily functions and testosterone production.

  5. Low Carb Diets: These can lead to erectile dysfunction. Many men dissatisfied with their bodies adopt low-carb diets like keto, but these diets can destroy your testosterone. Carbs use insulin to reduce stress hormones (cortisol) in your body. A high-fat, low-carb diet increases stress hormones, lowering testosterone levels. To keep stress hormones in check, consume complex carbohydrates like oats, quinoa, and sweet potatoes, which provide a steady flow of insulin.

  6. Alcohol: Drinking alcohol affects testosterone levels. Replace beer and wine with colorless spirits like vodka or gin, and mix them with soda water. This hydrates you while drinking, reducing hangovers and the amount of alcohol consumed, which helps maintain testosterone levels. Gradually replace vodka with more soda water throughout the night to keep your testosterone levels stable.

  7. Lack of Competition: This makes men weak. Men are hardwired to be competitive. To boost competitiveness, visit the website Strength Standard, find your favorite exercise, and see how you rank against other men. Set a goal to level up at least one rank in any exercise, which will increase your testosterone levels.

  8. Tap Water: This reduces semen quality. Tap water often contains hormones like estrogen, which decrease testosterone levels. To avoid this, either buy bottled water (expensive), buy a filter (inexpensive), or boil your water (free but time-consuming). Filtering your water is the most practical solution.

  9. Plastic Water Bottles: These contain BPA, an estrogen-like compound. Avoid microwaving food in plastic containers, stop consuming tinned foods, and replace plastic water bottles with BPA-free ones. Opt for filtered water bottles to further reduce hormone exposure.

  10. Toothpaste: Specifically, fluoride in toothpaste lowers testosterone levels. While fluoride is great for whitening teeth and removing plaque, if you're concerned about testosterone, choose fluoride-free toothpaste. You can also make your own natural toothpaste with baking soda, coconut oil, and sea salt.

By avoiding these 10 things, you'll notice a difference in your energy levels, muscle mass, confidence, and the interest of women around you within a week. Until next time, boys.
